That soft, sticky, goodness is also the hardest to slice, and to clean up.

The only cheese I want on my sammiches is provolone.

It's all right, very versatile and blends well, plus nothing really melts quit like it does. But I find 70% of Muenster brands offered to walk a little too on the mild and bland side. Well aged it can start to get into the lower rungs of a Limburger or even sharp cheddar as a stand alone capable of bringing more than just texture to the party. If a well seasoned Muenster is not offered I recommend a quick switch hit with a decent "Brick" cheese which offers many of the same loved qualities of a Muenster but carries a bit more flavor as it's a very young limburger cheese that hasn't fully been ripened.

If only there were more of that orange exterior, that's the best part.

I hate you so much for posting this. I am starving now. I only had time to make a little sandwich for lunch. I am trying to save money and not go to the cafeteria man!

Thank god for the pre-sliced cheese.

I will say there are better tasting cheeses, but none that work for so many applications.

Delicious, fresh, squeaky cheese curds would like a word with you...
Especially when you Poutine them...

Counter - counterpoint:
Real traditional English Cheddar, not the sacrilege you find elsewhere. Usable in any application.

Should try it with muenster next time.
